Forex Market Hours Tracker ("the app") shows forex market session times, reminders, an economic calendar and home screen widgets. This policy explains what the app does with information. In short: there is no account, no advertising and no analytics, and your settings and alarms stay on your device.

Information stored on your device

Your settings (such as theme and 24-hour time), the reminders you create and your widget choices are saved only on your phone. They are not sent to us. Removing the app deletes them.

Information sent over the internet

To show the economic calendar, the app downloads the list of upcoming economic releases from our server at api.forexmarkethourstracker.org. The request contains no personal information and no device identifiers; it only asks for calendar data for a date range.

Like any web server, ours receives your IP address and the time of the request as part of the connection. We use this only to run and protect the service (for example, to diagnose errors) and do not use it to identify you, build profiles or share it with others.

Permissions

Internet — to download the economic calendar.
Notifications — to show the market open and close reminders you set.
Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) — so reminders arrive on time and widgets update when a market opens or closes.
Run at startup — to restore your reminders after the phone restarts.
Vibration — for reminder notifications.

You can turn notifications and alarm access off at any time in Android settings; the rest of the app keeps working.

What we do not do

No account or sign-in.
No advertising and no ad identifiers.
No analytics or tracking SDKs.
We do not sell or share personal data.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
